We, somehow, all contracted scurvy on the way to the wormhole. What the heck do they put in our rations to do this!?

Through the wormhole, there’s a weird brain squid shooting at us?

A bot (unnamed bot number 1) fired one of our new fancy piercing missiles at it.

Peppy got started on gathering data, but we got hit by the squidbolts again.

Lord Jonathan V ranges up the squid for a canon firing time. AND HITS!

Derrick decides that RAMMING IT is a good idea… Oh my.

The missile is floating around it and missing a whole lot.

Peppy is scanning like a bubble possessed!

Batter power into guns! Pew power into brain!

Derrick is thinking about dodging. It did not fire at us.

Our missile finally hit!

Life support sputters out. We got one working, which got them both booted up.

We’ve just zoomed past the squid and it shot at us. We took a little damage, but mostly made stuff go shaky.

Bot got sucked off the ship by a faulty door. We might be able to pick it up.

Getting shot in the me! Gotta repair an engine now.

We ZOOOOOOOMED! It’s still blasting us.

Another missile hit. Missiles asre good.

Peppy found the Wormhole!

The Brain Squid missed us for once!

Launching the science probe. Make it easier to do scans. We did not fund the wormhole, we just completed the mission. Still don’t know how to get back, though.

We’re going so fast that Derrick is finding it hard to slow a little, but he managed it.

I’m doing my best, and that really is good enough.

The Brain Squid is apparently NOT part of a military. So we’re not starting any intergalactic wars, yet.

We keep getting hit, but it’s not breaking the ship modules, so…

I’m doing my best, and it’s actually quite good.

We’re at good amounts of power, and batteries are full.

Peppy located the wormhole now! Just trying to find the parameters for going through.

The Space Brain Squid seems to only want to hit us when we accelerate or decelerate.

So, Derrick accelerates!? It missed us, just a little hull damage.

Wait! It’s not acceleration/deceleration!? Peppy found that out at least.

It’s not speed, power levels, power changingm what could it be..? Not proximity, either.

Keeping shields topped up is keeping us alive.

I just failed my stuff for the first time today… I suck…

Peppy is trying to get us the reasons still, but who knows? Not us!

The computer says it’s between 10% and 50% health. It is very close to us, though.

Evasive maneuvers didn’t go well.

We’re on target to go home soon!

The Space Brain Squid is not hitting us.

We’re on the precipice of leaving…

Later, we were told that the Space Brain Squid was only firing at us to try to get us back to the wormhole. It would have presumably have done nothing if we were just sitting next to the wormhole gathering data…
